These Terms of Service cover your use of this website and anything you buy or join through it, including challenges, courses, audio and video programs, workbooks, meditations, memberships, live events, coaching and keynotes (together, our “Services”).
The Services are offered by Take a Breath Productions Inc., doing business as Take A Breath and Aligned Artist Academy, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”). When we say “you”, we mean the person using the Services.
By using the site or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us or create an account. If you’re buying for someone younger, you’re responsible for their use.
Our programs teach practices for working artists, including nervous system regulation, reflection, rest, mindset and spiritual grounding. They are educational and personal development tools.
They are not medical care, psychotherapy, counselling, financial or legal advice. Nothing we share replaces a qualified professional. If you’re dealing with a mental or physical health concern, please talk to your doctor or a licensed practitioner. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
Some practices involve breathwork, movement or meditation. Go at your own pace and skip anything that doesn’t feel right for your body.
We can’t promise you’ll book a role, get representation or earn a certain amount, and nobody honestly can. Stories and testimonials you see on the site are real experiences from real people. They are not typical or guaranteed results. Your results depend on you, your work and many things outside anyone’s control.
Prices are shown at checkout in the currency listed there and may change from time to time. Sale prices run for the time stated on the offer. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we never see or store your full card number.
When you buy a digital program, you get access right away through our member area or by email. You’re responsible for keeping your login details private.
The Ready Actor Challenge comes with our Ready Guarantee. If within 7 days of purchase you realize it isn’t the work you need right now, email [email protected] and we’ll refund you. No drama.
For other programs, any refund window is shown on that offer’s page or checkout. If nothing is stated, digital products are non-refundable once accessed, except where the law says otherwise. If something isn’t working the way it should, reach out and we’ll make it right.
Everything in our programs, including audio, video, workbooks, meditations, text, images and the Take A Breath and Aligned Artist Academy names, belongs to Take a Breath Productions Inc. or is used with permission.
When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the material for yourself. Please don’t share logins, copy, resell, record, upload or distribute our content, or use it to teach or coach others, without our written permission.
We may remove access for anyone who shares or misuses content, without a refund.
Some programs include group calls, comments or community spaces. Please be kind, keep what others share confidential, and don’t post anything harmful, hateful, promotional or unlawful. We may remove posts or access to protect the group.
Live sessions may be recorded and shared with participants. If you’d rather not appear, keep your camera off and use a first name only.
If you send us feedback, a testimonial or a story, you give us permission to share it, with your first name, unless you tell us otherwise.
If you opt in, we’ll send you emails such as The Weekly Adjustment and program updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
The site may link to or embed tools from others, like YouTube, social media and our course platform. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
We work hard to keep the site and programs available and accurate, but we provide them “as is” and can’t promise they’ll always be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Take a Breath Productions Inc. and its team aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost bookings, income or opportunities, arising from your use of the Services. If we are found liable for anything, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for the program in question.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken, if payment is reversed, or if needed to protect our community or content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring it where you live.
We may update these Terms as our programs grow. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Services after an update, the new Terms apply.
