Privacy Policy

Our promise

Your trust matters more to us than any sale. This policy explains what personal information Take a Breath Productions Inc. (“Take A Breath”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

• Contact details you give us, like your name, email and phone number.
• Purchase details, like what you bought, when, and your billing information. Card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Answers you share in forms, quizzes and intake questions, like the Audition Adjustment Test.
• Your progress and activity in our member area, like which lessons you’ve opened.
• Messages you send us by email, social media or our website chat.
• Basic technical information when you visit the site, like your browser, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To deliver what you asked for, like your test results, program access and receipts.
• To send emails you opted into, like The Weekly Adjustment. You can unsubscribe any time with one click.
• To answer your questions and support you.
• To understand what’s helpful and improve our programs and website.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram.
• To keep our Services secure and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need. These include

• Our website, email, forms and course platform (FunnelCures, built on HighLevel).
• Our payment processor.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for ad measurement. This may include a coded version of your email or purchase event so we can see which ads help, without sharing your answers or program activity.
• Video and content tools such as YouTube and Google Fonts, which load when you view certain pages.
• Our small team and contractors, who are bound to keep your information confidential.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand visits and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Google account settings. Some features may not work properly without cookies.

Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country. We choose providers that protect information with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you’re a subscriber or customer, and after that only as long as we need to for the reasons above, such as tax and accounting records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use secure, encrypted checkouts, password-protected systems and limited team access. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we’ll tell you and the appropriate authorities if a breach puts you at real risk of harm.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it. You can also ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it by law.

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

Children

Our Services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a young person has shared information with us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this policy as our tools and programs change, and we’ll change the date at the top of this page when we do.
